The Blog Papers (with their curator Jane Fletcher) on the wall at MAC Arts, Birmingham.
I've been ejected from the golf course management degree (even though I never hit a golf ball). It wasn't only the constant fear of being hit by a ball, it was all the fertilizer I inhaled from the greens. I'm now studying 'Pataphysics, the science of the particular, the science of 'laws governing exceptions'. I've swapped golf holes (green holes) for Black holes.

A True Story (3)
The train pulls into a
small station, I look up from the book, to see two women on the platform
opposite. The carriage window is dirty and they have their backs to me, but
when one of them turns to face my train I can hardly believe my luck, I’m
looking at the visage of Rosie Swale, the face on the cover of my book. Rucksack
and all, Rosie Swale’s going in the opposite direction from me, but before my
train pulls off, I have to let her see… see that I’m reading her book. So I
hold it up, up against the window, and to get her attention, fire the flash on
my camera.
As the train pulls
away I snap her, looking in bewilderment at me… a true story.
