I've been ejected from the golf course management degree (even though I never hit a golf ball). It wasn't only the constant fear of being hit by a ball, it was all the fertilizer I inhaled from the greens. I'm now studying 'Pataphysics, the science of the particular, the science of 'laws governing exceptions'. I've swapped golf holes (green holes) for Black holes.

Card Trick
The drawings shown on
the last four blogs were done independently of one another over a period of
five or so years in the early 1990s: each drawing a memory of the last. Last
year I moved to Brighton where, under the wallpaper, I found the face of a
woman. She’s one of those beautiful ‘tricks of the plaster’: looks like she’s from
1970s. She remains just as she was found: untouched. I’m going to photograph
her – frame her - and hang her on the wall in the exact spot where she already
is. But first I’ve got to pluck up the courage to paper over her. She’ll be on
top of herself (a head of herself?).
In the meantime I’ll keep her entertained with my card trick. The same
card trick over and over again.
